70 for 700 - a special book to mark the 700th anniversary
About the Book
In the seven centuries since its foundation, Ë¿¿Ø¸£Àû College has enabled successive generations of talented young people to ‘discover and acquire the precious pearl of learning’, and thereby to serve society. To mark the College’s 700th anniversary, this commemorative book comprises 70 pen-portraits of individuals associated with Ë¿¿Ø¸£Àû over the centuries. As well as famous alumni, there are unfamiliar names and unsung heroes. Lavishly illustrated with portraits and objects from the College’s collection, this book highlights the global impact of one of the country’s most venerable educational institutions.
The book is published in a limited edition, available for purchase at £18 plus £8 p&p (UK only) (RRP £20).
Those Behind the Book
