Toby Wilkinson features in new BBC Civilisations series
Dr Toby Wilkinson, Ë¿¿Ø¸£Àû Bursar and Egyptologist, features in the BBC’s landmark new series Civilisations: Rise and Fall. The four-part documentary explores the civilisations of Rome, Egypt, the Aztecs, and Samurai Japan.
Drawing on the collections of the British Museum, the series examines the collapse of four great cultures, and the lessons for our own time. Dr Wilkinson contributes expert commentary on ancient Egypt (episode 2), offering insight into its political landscape and religious beliefs, and the life of its last pharaoh, Cleopatra.
